Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies are, exactly which ones OCSAPP uses, and how to control them.

Last Updated: October 9, 2026

1.Introduction

OCSAPP Inc. ("OCSAPP," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies on ocsapp.ca. This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use and why, and the choices you have.

2.What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information over a period of time, such as your login session or your consent choice.

3.Cookies We Use

This is the complete list of cookies set by ocsapp.ca. Nothing is omitted.

4.Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. They enable core features like login, the shopping cart and security, and they remember your cookie choice. They do not require your consent and cannot be turned off on our site.

5.Functional Cookies

The "Remember me" cookies keep you signed in between visits. They are set only when you check that box, and they are deleted when you sign out.

6.Audience Measurement, Advertising and Third Parties

OCSAPP uses one internal audience-measurement cookie (visitor_id, see section 3). It is set only with your consent. If you refuse, or if you have not answered the banner, no visitor_id cookie is set and your visit is not recorded in our audience statistics.

OCSAPP does not use any advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated before any such cookies are deployed, and the table in section 3 will reflect exactly what is added.

Some account pages for businesses let you pay through Stripe or PayPal. On those pages, the payment provider may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by the provider's own privacy policy.

7.Your Choices

On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept or refuse the audience-measurement cookie. Refusing does not affect how the site works. To change your choice later, delete the cookies for ocsapp.ca in your browser settings: the banner will appear again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent the site from functioning properly (for example, you will not be able to sign in or use your cart).

8.Applicable Legislation

This Cookie Policy is intended to comply with:

  • Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25 (Bill 64); and
  • The federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

9.Contact Us

If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at privacy@ocsapp.ca, or call 438-817-8551, Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
